Downings Bay Beach is in Donegal and situated on the eastern side of the Sheephaven Bay. I put its location on Google Maps here for your easy navigation.
Parking
There are several options for parking your car. One option is to drive your car onto the hard-packed sand part of Downings Bay Beach, meaning to park your car close to the water’s edge. However, this way might not be environmentally-friendly for the beach.
Another option is to park your car off the main Downings street that faces Sweet Haven shop which is a convenient wa. However, it might get crowded during summer. There are other car parks in its proximity, like Ballymastocker Beach Car Park, Tra na Rossan Parking, or Lough Salt Car Park that might require a long walk to reach the beach.
