The main parking space is at the Connemara National Park Visitor Centre. The parking space is available for free, however, overnight stays or camping is not allowed. During summer months this place might be crowded, so, you should plan it ahead to find a space for your parking.

The Visitor Centre at Diamond Hill offers you a variety of facilities to make sure you have a perfect and comfortable visit. Free toilet facilities and a tea room is available that serves tea, coffee, and light refreshments.

- Best For: Ideal for a leisurely stroll and for observing the local flora and fauna.
- Trail Highlights: Although it’s shorter and easier than other trails in the park, it offers rewarding sights along the way.
- Duration: The trail takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.

Scruffaunboy Walk (1.5km)
- Trail Colour: Yellow
- Trail Difficulty & Route: This trail offers a moderate hiking experience with beautiful landscapes.
- Navigation: The lines are all marked, so you can easily follow the trail without worrying about getting lost.
- Trail Comparison: It’s longer than Ellis Wood Nature Trail but shorter than the Lower and Upper Diamond Hill Walks — a great middle-ground option.
- Duration: This trail takes around 30 minutes to complete.
Lower Diamond Hill Walk (3km)
- Trail Colour: Blue
- Trail Difficulty & Route: This trail is more challenging than the previous ones, but it’s still considered easy to moderate and remains accessible.
- Scenic Value: It offers mesmerizing views of Connemara and is surrounded by stunning landscapes.
- Duration: This trail takes approximately 1 to 2 hours to complete.
Upper Diamond Hill Walk (3.7km)
- Trail Colour: Red
- Trail Difficulty & Route: This is the most challenging section of the Diamond Hill Hike.
- Scenic Value: Offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, Twelve Bens, Tully Mountain, and even Kylemore Abbey — totally worth the effort.
- Duration: This trail takes about 2 to 3 hours to complete.
