There are 2 options to park your car at Slieve League: lower car park and upper car park. The upper car park is next to the entrance or viewpoint of Slieve League. However, it gets crowded and there are limited spaces to park your car.

First and foremost, you should be aware that just some parts of the cliffs are fenced and you should be cautious when exploring other parts that are not fenced or protected.

As the weather in Ireland can be unpredictable, it’s better to forecast and be prepared. Don’t forget to carry plenty of water and snacks to help you stay energized.

I also suggest you get a map at the visitor centre or download it to your phone. Although the path is straightforward, always having a map is safer!
